The Hobbit News: All the dwarves in costume, and Peter Jackson’s video blogs

If you wish to remain absolutely pure and unsullied for The Hobbit, like a kid that knows where the presents are hidden but refuses to peek so they can be surprised on Christmas morning, then turn away now. In fact, you may actually want to just turn off your computer and never again connect to the internet. There is a lot of time between now and when the first part of Peter Jackson’s return to Middle Earth, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, is released next December 14, so you may have a tough time avoiding any info on the film.

It’s not like there are spoilers aplenty online, and even if there were, the film is based on a book. You might have heard of it. Nevertheless, if you do not want to sully your eyeballs with glimpse of what is to come, look away.

Above is the first production picture of all the dwarves together in their full gear. The characters and actors that play them are from left to right: Nori (Jed Brophy), Fili (Dean O’Gorman), Dori (Mark Hadlow), Bofur (James Nesbitt), Gloin (Peter Hambleton), Dwalin (Graham McTavish), Thorin Oakenshield (Peter Armitage-center), Balin (Ken Stott), Oin (John Callen), Bombur (Stephen Hunter), Bifur (William Kircher), Ori (Adam Brown) and Kili (Aidan Turner).

But wait, there’s more!

Peter Jackson has released his third video blog, discussing the production. You can watch it below, and then if you still haven’t satiated your thirst for The Hobbit, scroll down for the first and second blogs as well.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits theaters on December 14, 2012, and it concludes with The Hobbit: There and Back Again on December 13, 2013.
