The next adventure for Groot and Rocket Raccoon will be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but director James Gunn seems to already be looking beyond that. During a recent interview at Brazil’s Comic Con, Vin Diesel revealed that the two bounty hunters could get their own movie.

Diesel, who plays Groot in the films, opened up about the possibilities while talking to Screen Junkies’ Roth Cornet. She had asked him if we’re ever going to see Groot and Spider-Man in a movie together and Diesel instead talked about his tree-like humanoid character teaming up with other Marvel characters, one being Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper) and the other being the Hulk (played by Mark Ruffalo).

“That’s an interesting question,” Diesel said. “I think if it’s up to James Gunn, you’re going to see a Groot-Rocket movie after Infinity Wars.”

Thanks to a previous announcement from the actor, we know that the Guardians will appear in Avengers: Infinity War, which will be broken into two parts. Still, it is nice to know Groot is likely to be teaming up with the genetically-modified raccoon again in the future even beyond that. Diesel seems confident the spinoff will happen, calling it “highly possible.”

Meanwhile, he is also scoping out other possible co-stars. “I know that there’s somewhere in the universe you’re going to see Groot and Hulk battle,” he said. “I know it.”

The action star has reason to believe it — the faceoff does happen in the comic books, as he was quick to point out. Whether or not it happens, Groot fans can rest easy knowing that he will be sticking around for a while.

James Gunn made 600 versions of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Pom Klementieff, Chris Pratt, and Karen Gillan as Mantis, Star-Lord, and Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Do you love any film enough to watch it 600 times? Because according to The Hollywood Reporter, director James Gunn has created 600 unique versions of his final Marvel movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. However, there's no need to freak out and try to watch every single version. Gunn didn't change any scenes or plot points between them. Instead, this effort was meant to ensure that movie lovers will get to see the film in the best aspect ratio possible in any given theater.

If 600 versions sound like a lot, keep in mind that James Cameron's Avatar: The Way of Water reportedly had 1,065 versions in theaters all over the world. Gunn's Guardians variations are a record for a Marvel movie, and he apparently played with the way the aspect ratio will change during the movie itself. For example, the first 45 minutes of the movie was shot in a flat 1.85 aspect ratio, while the remaining parts of the film are in a 2.39 ratio. This means that Gunn specifically picked moments in the later part of the movie where the action on-screen will appear to get bigger.
