Ever wish you could build a clean, warm fire next to your tent instead of a smoky mess when you are camping? The folks at Solo Stove may have a solution for your fiery problem. Say hello to the Solo Stove Bonfire, a portable fire pit that promises to produce the most beautiful and efficient fire that outdoor lovers have seen. Best of all — it is big enough that you can use it for your next backyard barbecue or throw in your car for a weekend camping trip.

The Solo Stove Bonfire is engineered to produce an effortless fire experience. You just fill the unit with standard-sized firewood logs, add some paper as a fire starter, and you are ready to go. The airflow mechanics help the wood ignite quickly, so you do not have to mess around with burning logs, flying sparks, and other dangerous fire maintenance tasks. The stainless steel pit looks as good as it works. It is precision constructed with 304 stainless steel and polished to perfection using a multi-step finishing and polishing process. The completed unit makes your stone fire pit look like amateur hour at the campground.

So how does the Solo Stove Bonfire works its magic with wood? The key to the Bonfire is its double-walled construction that produces the Bonfire’s signature airflow design. The unit has a series of interior vent holes that circulate the warm air inside the unit and a companion set of bottom intake air holes that allow fresh oxygen to flow through the base plate to fuel the fire. The entire system is designed to create a hot fire that burns with almost no smoke and very little ash waste. The Bonfire burns so efficiently that it reduces 20 pounds of logs to a mere five ounces of ash.

The Solo Stove Bonfire is being sold through a Kickstarter campaign with prices starting at $219 for a single stove. The first production run of the Bonfire is expected to ship in December.
