Garden Tags

This popular gardening app — great for design inspiration — is home to a large community of friendly gardeners who are quick to offer care advice, identification help, and handy tips. You can keep a photographic journal of your garden and get reminders about pruning, or advice on the best spots for growth. You can also search the encyclopedia, see what’s popular, and follow other gardeners when you find plants and gardens that you like. Recent versions add plant recognition features to help you quickly identify plants. The app also updated how to manage privacy and communication settings and lets you set up your gardening task schedule according to your climate. Premium users on monthly, annual, or six-month plans can now change the season or frequency of various plant care tasks. The app now offers pinch and zoom gestures for plant and garden photos, the ability to date stamp your photos, and badges added to your profile.

Moon & Garden

Moon & Garden takes a unique lunar approach to planting and harvesting fruits, vegetables, and herbs in your organic garden. Using a biodynamic method, the app relies on the phases of the moon to advise you of actions you can take in caring for your garden for the following day. The app approaches gardening from a position that plants depend on lunar phases like full moon or new moon for successful sowing, repotting, transplanting, and harvesting, depending on the type of fruit, flower, or leaf you have. The app reveals not only the current phase of the moon and the zodiac sign, but also the weather forecast for determining optimal gardening conditions. The app lets you schedule your gardening tasks with its reminder feature and share your pictures with other Moon & Garden users via the Community feature. The app is free, but for $1 you can remove ads. The newest version lets you sign in via Google or Facebook.

I found the best iPhone 18 Pro cases in all the looks and styles you’ll need
From a budget clear case to Casetify's drop-tested overall pick, these are the iPhone 18 Pro cases worth buying.
Casetify iPhone 18 Pro Impact Stand Case

The best iPhone 18 Pro case isn't the most expensive one on the market. It's the one that complements how you actually use your phone. If you hate bulky cases and like to show off your phone, you're better off with the clear ones. However, if you're constantly dropping your iPhone, it makes sense to invest in an armor case or one with higher drop protection.

After all, both the back glass and front screen are quite expensive to repair. I'd rather you be safe than sorry, so spend on a good-quality protective case for your iPhone 18 Pro instead of shelling out a couple hundred dollars on repairs. I believe these ten cases cover those extremes, and knowing which one fits your habits could save you more than simply buying the most expensive option.

Apple faces investigation over claims of hardware damage due to iOS 18 update
India’s consumer watchdog is examining complaints of display and microphone failures linked to iOS 18.

Apple has been dealing with complaints around iOS 18 since shortly after the update began rolling out in late 2024. Users reported everything from sluggish performance and random freezing to camera crashes and non-responsive screens, eventually prompting India’s consumer watchdog to seek answers from the company in January 2025.

The matter has now become considerably more serious. India’s Central Consumer Protection Authority, or CCPA, has escalated its probe after receiving complaints that iOS 18 caused display and microphone problems on some iPhones. According to Reuters, which reviewed documents exchanged between Apple and the regulator, the CCPA ordered a “detailed investigation” on July 29.
