Add as a preferred source on Google

It’s all too easy to damage your smartphone and repairs are a major pain. It makes sense to get a protective case. You may also want to give your G4 a different look, or extend its battery life. There are plenty of options to choose from, and you don’t necessarily have to break the bank. These are the best LG G4 cases and covers we’ve found so far.

Spigen Slim Armor Case ($17)

This case will keep your LG G4 safe without adding too much bulk. There’s a flexible TPU shell, reinforced top and bottom to provide drop protection. A smooth, hard, polycarbonate shell fits over the top and provides a tiny kickstand, so you can prop your LG G4 in landscape view for watching movies. The openings on the back provide easy access to the controls and camera, and you’ll find generous cut-outs on the bottom edge for the ports.

Noreve Tradition D Case ($55)

These classy leather cases are handcrafted in France. The Tradition D is a folio-style case which hugs your LG G4 securely. The padded leather is available in a wide range of different colors and styles. There are large cut-outs for access to your ports, controls, and camera. There’s also a circular window in the cover, just like the official LG Quick Circle case, so you can access some functions and see a clock face without opening your case.

Case-Mate Naked Tough Case ($4)

If you like clear cases, then this could be the one for you. It’s actually a combination, comprising a shock-absorbent rubbery bumper and a crystal clear, hard back panel. You’ll find the full range of openings you need for uninterrupted access to ports, controls, and camera. It’s a minimalist case that’s devoid of any details and thus ideal for showing off LG’s design. The fit is very tight and the back can pick up scratches, but the reduced price makes it a bargain.

Caseology Envoy Series Case ($16)

Here’s a fresh look. This Caseology case has a textured leather-style finish in polyurethane that adds some grip. It’s a fairly typical dual layer design with a TPU shell and a hard polycarbonate bumper over the top. The cut-outs for the controls, camera, and ports are all present and correct. There’s also a slight lip around the display to help protect it. It’s fairly slim, so don’t expect rugged drop protection, but it should cope with minor tumbles.

Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit Case ($10)

This is a classic, simple TPU shell that will guard against bumps and knocks. It’s a slim, translucent case that’s easy to fit, and it comes in a wide variety of colors. You’ll find a circuitry design and the Android mascot etched into the back. There’s easy access for the controls, camera, and ports. You’ll also find a slight bezel around the screen, but you may want to combine it with a screen protector for complete coverage.

Moshi iGlaze Napa Case ($12)

If you want to get the leather look, and benefit from the protection of a case, then check out Moshi’s iGlaze Napa. It’s not real leather, it’s fake–or vegan, if you prefer. The shell itself has the usual malleable interior layer with a polycarbonate outer layer, and you’ll find the leather effect on the back. It looks and feels pretty convincing. There’s also a raised bezel on the front to protect the screen. The openings are precise for full access to camera, controls, and ports. It comes in red or black. Combine it with the iVisor Glass and you’ve got all-round protection.

Trident Cyclops Case ($13+)

You’ll find rugged protection that meets military standard 810F with this LG G4 case. The Cyclops is a one-piece case, but it combines the benefits of tough polycarbonate with shock-absorbing TPE. There’s a built-in screen protector, and the TPE plugs keep dust, rain, and dirt out of your ports. The cut-out on the back is generous, so you won’t have any trouble using the camera or controls. It also adds some grip without being sticky. You can get it in plain black, or with a blue or white frame and back panel.

Tech21 Evo Tactical Case ($12+)

Here’s a G4 case that’s light, fairly understated, and capable of safeguarding your phone from the typical drops and bumps of everyday life. It employs Tech21’s “Impactology”, which really just means that it’s designed to absorb the impact of any fall and channel it away from the G4 to prevent damage. It’s pretty slim, for a protective case. The openings are all correct, the tapered side panels make it comfortable to hold, and you can get it in black or purple.

Urban Armor Gear Maverick Case ($18+)

This case looks quite chunky, but it’s actually extremely light. It offers solid drop protection, scoring an 810G military drop-test rating. The malleable, black, rubberized highlights add grip, both in hand and on surfaces. The case also keep the G4 from touching anything, whichever way you put it down. The cut-outs are accurate and don’t interfere with your phone functionality at all. The Maverick case is transparent, so you can see the design underneath, but there’s also a darker Ash version of this case available.

Incipio NGP Case ($6+)

Slim, easy to fit, lightweight, but still protective, Incipio’s NGP range is a good choice if you can’t stand too much bulk in a case. You can get this case in white, black, pink, or teal and they are all slightly translucent. The opening on the back is large, so there are no problems with flash splash back. Your controls and ports are all easily accessible with the case on. It adds a little bit of grip, but it’s a smooth finish, so it won’t snag sliding in and out of your pocket.

LG Quick Circle Case ($25+)

This official LG case snaps onto your G4 snugly and features a front cover with a circular cut-out in it. Look through the round window, and you’ll find an app launcher that supports a variety of different clock faces, music controls, incoming notifications and calls, and more. The openings are precise, so you’ve got full access to controls and features. The case is finished with a subtle diamond pattern, and comes in five different colors. There is also a version with the replacement back, which enables wireless charging and adds no bulk.

Mophie Juice Pack ($50+)

You’ll enjoy a big additional boost of power from this battery case. It’s rated at 3,450mAh, which should give you up to an extra 80 percent battery life for your LG G4. The two-piece design makes it easy to fit. There’s a switch on the back to turn the power on, and four white LEDs to indicate roughly how much juice is left. The cut-out is generous and beveled, to ensure that it doesn’t interfere with that stunning camera. This is a polycarbonate case with a raised edge on the front, so it should safeguard against minor drops and bumps as well.

Olixar FlexiShield Dot Case ($11)

Here’s a nice, budget option that delivers a slim layer of durable protection. The case comes in blue or black, both with a dot pattern finish. It’s a soft case that’s comfortable to hold, and it really enhances your grip, making falls much less likely. There’s a protective bezel on the front, so the screen won’t touch the ground even if it lands face down. The openings give full access to all your ports and features.

Ballistic Urbanite Case ($21)

This is a protective case that promises good drop protection, without adding too much in the bulk department. The reinforced corners will bear the brunt of any impact and, combined with the raised lip around the front, your screen should stay crack-free. Ballistic says drop protection is good up to six feet. All the cut-outs you need are there, and the button covers on the back are easy to find and use. A soft, matte gray material covers the buttons, corners, and front, and you can choose pink or black for the harder, gloss back.

Rearth Ringke Fusion Case ($12)

If you’re looking for something that won’t hide your G4’s style, then a translucent case like this one could be your best bet. This will fit over the standard, or the leather back. There are openings on the back, but the ports down at the bottom have protective caps to help you keep dust out. It’s a TPU case, so it’s easy to fit, and there’s a little bit of shock absorption. The case also ships with a screen protector, which makes it good value for the money.

Supcase Unicorn Beetle Pro Case ($19+)

You take one look at this case and you can tell how good it will be at keeping your LG G4 in perfect condition. It completely covers the back and sides of your phone, and the front cover doubles as a screen protector. The sides of the case provide additional grip, too, and there are cutout for your smartphone’s ports, speakers, and camera. There are also built-in covers to keep out unwanted dirt and dust. The case even comes with a clip-on holster, which can be rotated 360 degrees to suit your personal preferences and makes it easier to carry around.

PowerBear Extended Battery Case ($40)

PowerBear has a cheaper solution for extending your phone’s battery than Mophie’s offerings. The company’s battery case is more like a battery replacement, but can be paired with the included cover and case to keep both the battery and the phone protected. Once installed, you’ll enjoy an additional 100 hours of use, along with admirable drop protection. The case and battery add a bit of bulk when used together, but not enough to make it hard to slip your phone in and out of your pocket. The battery is designed to last for 500 charges, but if anything goes wrong, it comes with a 24-month warranty.

Diztronic Flexible TPU Case ($10)

If you want a case that’s thin, lightweight, and easy to take on and off, Diztronic’s case may be perfect for you. It meets all of the aforementioned requirements, and it’s made of a flexible TPU material that will absorb some shock when dropped, though it doesn’t offer rugged drop protection. The case is also fingerprint-resistant, so you won’t have to worry about smudges ruining the look your phone. The edges are raised to keep your phone’s display from touching any surface when placed face down, too, and at only 1.6-millimeter, you’ll hardly know it’s there. It’s a pretty simple case, sure, but it still manages to offer decent protection for a mere $10.

OtterBox Defender Series Case ($22+)

When you think “OtterBox,” you likely think of some of the most rugged smartphone cases available, namely those in the  company’s Defender series. It’s not surprising, given each case in the lineup comes with the same certification, which ensures it can hold up to drops, shocks, dust, and dirt. The LG G4 edition is made of three parts — i.e. a polycarbonate shell, a rubber cover, and a built-in screen protector — but if that wasn’t enough, it comes with a holster that features a built-in clip that conveniently doubles as a kickstand for hands-free viewing. Whether it’s in your hand, resting on a table, or attached to your belt, your phone will remain well protected with this case.

Verus Layered Dandy Wallet Case ($20+)

You can’t go wrong with a wallet-style case, assuming you’re looking for all-encompassing protection and a small amount of storage space for stashing money and credit cards. Verus’ Layered Dandy case is made to fit the LG G4 like a glove, meaning not only does it make for a snug fit, but it also keeps the additional bulk to a minimum. The case covers all four corners of your phone, has raised edges to protect your display, and features a magnetic clasp to keep the cover from opening unexpectedly. It also has three slots for credit cards and IDs, and a money sleeve for any cash you want to take with you.

OnePlus’ latest gaming accessory is a tiny magnetic cooler. Shame the US may miss out
OnePlus also slapped a display on its new 10,000mAh power bank
OnePlus Ice Card Mini

OnePlus has built its smartphone brand around powerful performance and big batteries. So the target audience is usually gamers and power users. Now, it's building another accessory to keep phones cool. The company’s new Ice Card Mini magnetic cooler has appeared on OPPO’s official Chinese store ahead of its October 12 launch, and the entire thing measures just 70 x 53.4mm.

This makes it roughly 18g lighter and around 30% smaller in footprint than OnePlus’ previous Magnetic Ice Cooling Clip. Despite cutting down on its size and weight, the company has managed to pack a thermoelectric TEC cooling chip inside alongside an active air-cooling system aimed directly at the phone’s main heat-generating area.

Apple raised the iPhone 18 Pro price, and buyers may have voted with their wallets
Apple’s premium iPhone strategy may be hitting an expensive speed bump
Electronics, Mobile Phone, Phone

Apple has reportedly asked some suppliers to reduce component production for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, as higher prices and weaker-than-expected demand put pressure on its latest flagship smartphones. According to Nikkei Asia, component orders for October have been cut by 15% to 20% compared with Apple's original requests, raising questions about whether the premium iPhones are attracting enough buyers at their new prices.

The report, citing people familiar with Apple's supply chain, says the company became more cautious about shipments in early September. The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199, while the Pro Max starts at $1,299, with both models priced $100 higher than their predecessors. They went on sale on September 18.

Xiaomi 18 Fold

Wide is the new tall in the smartphone world. Ever since the iPhone Duo leaked, it feels like every other phone maker is working on a wide-screen device. Samsung beat Apple to the punch with the Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Xiaomi has released the Xiaomi 18 Fold, and it looks almost identical to the iPhone Duo.

The trend isn’t stopping with foldables either. Huawei recently brought the wide design to a regular phone with its Pura X View, and now it looks like Oppo wants to join the party.
