Google has dropped a ton of new hardware products at its long awaited October 4 event, including the new Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, the company’s first real attempt at being a hardware company. On top of the Pixel phones, the company also dropped devices like the new Google Home smart home speaker, the Google Wi-Fi smart router, the Chromecast Ultra, and more. But where can you get all these devices, and when? We have all the order information for you here.
Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL
The Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones were the main event, and feature the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 12-megapixel camera being hailed by Google as the “best smartphone camera ever.” Sounds like a pretty neat device, eh? Unfortunately, this one’s another Verizon exclusive. If you want to buy your phone through your carrier, you’ll have to be a Verizon customer. Otherwise, thankfully, you can get the device unlocked through the Google Store. We highly recommend that you avoid Verizon and buy it unlocked from Google. You’ll still have financing options, but you won’t be locked to a carrier. Here’s the pricing for the new Pixel phones.

Verizon is selling the Pixel and Pixel XL from its website, or you can head to the Google Store to pre-order it unlocked. You’ll also soon be able to get it from Best Buy.
Google Home
The second biggest announcement at Google’s October 4 event was the Google Home smart home speaker, which is aimed at taking on the Amazon Echo, and brings Google Assistant into your home. The speaker certainly looks pretty nice, and if you want one for yourself, thankfully it’s available for pre-order at a number of different locations.
As is the case with most other Google hardware devices, you can get Google Home through the Google Store, but you can also pre-order it through Best Buy or Walmart. It’ll set you back $130.
Google Chromecast Ultra
The Google Chromecast has long been a favorite for low-cost streaming options, and now you don’t have to sacrifice quality for that low cost. The Chromecast Ultra adds a number of great features to the Chromecast, including 4K streaming, support for HDR, a built-in Ethernet adapter, and more.
Unfortunately, those new features come at a price. The Chromecast Ultra raises the price of the streaming device up to $70, and while you can’t buy it or pre-order it just yet, you should be able to get it from the Google Store, Best Buy, and other stores in coming months.
Google Wifi
Google Home isn’t the only home-bound device Google wants to sell you. The company has also unveiled Google Wifi, a smart Wi-Fi router that features software designed to help keep all of your connections nice and speedy, no matter how many connections you have. The router even has an associated app, allowing you to manage and monitor the phones, tablets, and computers connected to it. The device is really targeted at those with large houses — multiple Google Wifi routers work well together, and Google is even selling them in packs of three for those with a large house.
Google Wifi, like the Chromecast Ultra, currently isn’t available for purchase or for pre-order just yet, but it will likely be available on the Google Store, Best Buy, and other stores when it is available. It will cost $130.
Daydream View
Google announced Daydream at Google I/O a few months ago, and while we don’t really have many more details about the software, we do now have eyes on Google’s self-built Daydream headset, called the Daydream View. The headset is aimed at being as comfortable as possible, and to achieve that Google actually used fabric as one of the main build materials.
The headset currently only works with the Google Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, and while it’s not available for purchase just yet, it should be in coming months. It will be available from the Google Store, and will cost $80, although if you pre-order the Pixel smartphone, you’ll get the View for free when it’s finally out.
