Make texts more expressive (and absurd) by creating your own emoji

Add as a preferred source on Google

How’d you like to turn yourself into an emoji character? Instead of texting the plain ol’ smiley faces, why not spice it up with a character that looks just like you and can express a wide variety of emotions!

That’s where Bitmoji comes in. It’s this great, fun app that’s bound to give you hours of fun! Let me show you how it works. It’s available on both iOS and Android. First you log in and then the app will walk you through a few simple steps to create your Emoji character. You can choose to make one that looks like you or hey, make one that looks nothing like you! You can always change it later if you don’t like it, but you can only have one active character at a time.

Once you go through the setup and have chosen your hair, eyes, nose and some other details, you also choose whether you want glasses or not, your head gear and what kind of body type you want. Then you pick your outfit. I went for Wonder Woman! Of course.

Now, if I were being picky about this process, I would point out that the build section needs a bit of work. The heavy option isn’t exactly what I’d call “heavy”. It merely looks more average then their Average option. But… It is an emoji character, so….

Anyway, once you decide on your look, you’ll be taken to another screen where you get to choose from TONS of emoji options! Ask someone to dinner. Have some attitude! Send some love. Get festive! And a few others that we really can’t decipher the meaning of.

To show off your newly created emoji masterpiece, either send the emoji directly to the social media app of your choosing. Or… If you’re having a conversation in an app already, change the keyboard and choose the emoji you want. They do have a Chrome extension, too so you can have it everywhere!

I have to admit… I’ve had quite a bit of fun with this one! I hope they add personalized GIF’s soon, too! That’d be awesome!

Electronics, Mobile Phone, Phone

ESR rarely reinvents its category. It keeps sanding off the annoying parts. The company’s latest lineup, unveiled at IFA 2026, leans hard into that concept.

In Berlin, the company revealed three new charging devices and three new protective accessories for smartphones. They’re headlined by a charger that actively cools itself while it charges your phone.

Here's your first real look at Motorola's next big foldable, sketches and all.
Electrical Device, Switch, Electronics

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, the company’s first wide foldable, became a sleeper hit that no one saw coming. It was quite obvious Samsung made the wide fold in a preemptive attempt to compete with the upcoming iPhone Ultra, but it struck gold. The phone is selling so well now that the company is facing severe component shortages.

It seems other companies have seen Fold 8’s success and are taking their own stab at making a wide foldable. According to a new report from Android Headlines, Motorola is working on a wide foldable phone, and we just got our first real look at it. An anonymous source shared exclusive sketches with the outlet, giving us a solid idea of the device's design before Motorola has said a word.
