The iPhone is a hot commodity throughout the year, and it’s been a hit so far among Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Cyber Week deals. But now that it’s officially Cyber Week, we’re seeing a number of iPhone models discounted, as it’s making for some of the best Cyber Week phone deals available. You can find all of the best Cyber Week iPhone deals below, and they include deals on iPhones released as recently as the iPhone 15. If you have an eye out for other Cyber Week Apple deals be sure to check out Cyber Week iPad deals, Cyber Week MacBook deals, and Cyber Week Apple Watch deals.

Best Cyber Week Sales

It’s been awhile since the iPhone 13 was the new kid on the block, and that’s a good thing for deals. As you’ll be reminded by our iPhone 13 review, this phone still has the lightning cable, but at $399 and being locked to the quite good Straight Talk, this is an excellent deal on a phone that MSRP’d at $799 just two years ago.

iPhone 14 Plus (128GB, Unlocked) — $680* $730 7% off*

If you can get it at a good discount, the 14 Plus is a good upgrade to the standard iPhone 14. Our iPhone 14 Plus review details its extras like Apple Pay, spatial audio, Apple Watch pairing, and extensive battery life.

*With a qualifying Best Buy trade-in, you can get this phone for up to an additional $330 off, making the final price of the phone as low as $350, or 52% off.

How to choose an iPhone on Cyber Week

Let’s make a grand assumption: If you’re going to buy an iPhone on Cyber Week, you probably already have a general sense of which one you want to buy and are, let’s face it, enmeshed in Apple’s iOS device ecosystem. While, if you’re not, you can always check our reviews of the phones or our iPhone 14 and 14 Pro buying guide, chances are you have a good inkling of what to get.

Then, the issue becomes navigating the deals.

The first type of deal you’re likely to encounter this season is the “locked to” deal. That means you get the phone but must use it with whichever cell phone plan it is attached to. Be sure to check out how to unlock a phone guide if you ever plan on getting it unlocked later.

Next, there’s the deal that you can spice up with a trade-in. Much like giving in your used automobile when buying a new car and getting some cash in exchange, these deals are impactful. During the first iteration of this article (bookmark us to see updates as the deals season continues), we found plenty of Best Buy trade-in deals, which offer plenty of flexibility for what you trade-in. Check with our guide on how to trade in your smartphone for more tips about how to make this transaction go smoothly.

How we chose these Cyber Week iPhone deals

If you’ve heard the phrases “seller’s market” and “beggers can’t be choosers,” then you know the rub — Apple is popular and doesn’t have to offer many deals.

Still, however, when you can get a good deal on your next iPhone, there’s no reason not to jump on it. And, in many cases, the lack of intense and varied deals lets us know two great things. For one, iPhones are (if expensive) quite fairly priced, even at MSRP. Secondly, when you find a deal from a reliable retailer, it is probably one of the best deals around.

As a result, we’re very confident in the deals above but are also anxious to see what will happen as the deals season progresses, and we will update this list accordingly.

Google will now let you sign in with a selfie video
The selfie videos will have a live aspect to avoid spoofing.
Google selfie video verify

For nearly half a decade, Google has been trying to transition users away from the mess of unsafe (and easy-to-guess) passwords. First came hardware keys (like those made by YuBiCo) and then came the password-less login system called Passkeys that enabled biometric sign-ins, too. Now, Google wants you to verify your identity with a selfie video, somewhat like we use Face ID to sign in for services on an iPhone or iPad.

“Selfie video is a new way to get into your account, giving you more options if you’re ever locked out or don’t have access to your usual phone or computer,” says the company. Google is pushing selfie videos as a secure backup login option, especially in scenarios when you don’t have access to your trusted device and recovering a lost password is not feasible.

Dbrand’s Grip cases tout superior protection for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 & Fold 8 without looking dull
Your foldables don't need to be chunky to be well protected
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Dbrand Grip Case Deal

Samsung’s latest foldables may be thinner and sturdier than their predecessors, though none of these refinements matters a lot if you're planning on slapping a thick protective cover on them. But considering how the lineup starts from $1,200 and even crosses the $2,000 mark, it makes sense to get a case. This is where Dbrand comes in.

It has just launched its Grip cases for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, giving buyers a way to protect Samsung’s newest foldables without wrapping them in a dull slab of black plastic. Better yet, Digital Trends readers can currently save 15% on all three cases using the discount code "DIGITALTRENDS15".

I went hands-on with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. It’s peak foldable in an old garb.
It may not look like a fresh start, but underneath the familiar chassis, there's plenty of thoughtful engineering tweaks.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra

Samsung just wrapped up its glitzy Unpacked event, revealing three new foldable phones and a pair of smartwatches. While my heart flutters for the pocketable Galaxy Z Fold 8, it’s the Ultra variant that truly feels like a refinement. Interestingly, when you look at the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra for the first time, you might mistake it for the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

Both of them look identical, and Samsung has not made any visible changes on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra for it to stand out from its predecessor. Color options, obviously, are fresh this time around, but there are a few changes that have been made under the hood, and they make this phone feel like a practically rewarding iteration.
