What’s happened? OnePlus has confirmed it will launch its next flagship phone, the OnePlus 15, globally on November 13.
- The OnePlus 15 has already been announced in China, so the specs of the phone are already known.
- OnePlus says its new phone “delivers exceptional speed and enhanced personalized intelligence” and “clear photography anytime, day or night”.
- It had previously claimed the phone offers a “two-generation upgrade in power and intelligence” over its predecessor, the excellent OnePlus 13.
- OnePlus is skipping the ’14’ model number, and jumping straight to 15.
This is important because: OnePlus thoroughly impressed us with its 13 flagship at the start of the year, so we’re expecting big things from the Chinese phone maker this time around.
- OnePlus can challenge the likes of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Google Pixel 10 Pro XL and Galaxy S25 Ultra with its upcoming handset, which might even undercut its rivals when it comes to price.
- Looking at the specs of the Chinese model (which are subject to change for a global version), the OnePlus 15 packs a 6.78-inch display, top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, triple 50MP rear cameras, and a massive 7,300mAh battery.
- It will be available in three colors; Infinite Black, Ultra Violet, Sand Storm.

Why should I care? If you’re after a powerful, big-screen phone, the OnePlus 15 looks set to offer exactly what you want, at a price which could be more palatable than handsets from the bigger names.
- Battery life could be seriously impressive if the 7,300mAh power pack makes it to the global version.
- It would be at least 2,000mAh larger than the batteries found in the trio of phones named above, all of which have larger, heavier frames.

- The OnePlus 15 is already confirmed to be available in the US – making it one of very few Chinese phone brands to cut through in the American market.
- The OnePlus 13 launched at $899 for the 12GB/256GB version and $999 for the 16GB/512GB model. If OnePlus can keep prices similar for the OnePlus 15, it will come in under its core Apple, Google and Samsung rivals.
