Revealed: Pixel 10 replacement parts that have increased and decreased in price

What’s happened? You can now get genuine repair parts for the Google Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro from the iFixit website. However, the cost of parts has changed significantly in comparison with the prices of Pixel 9 and 9 Pro parts – with some getting more expensive.

Compared to the Pixel 9 Pro, a replacement screen for the Pixel 10 Pro has increased by $37.
The replacement screen on the Pixel 10 is $20 more than the Pixel 9 screen.
This increase is because the screen panels on the new devices are brighter.
In comparison with the Pixel 9 Pro, back glass replacement for the Pixel 10 Pro has increased by $7.
The replacement back glass on the Pixel 10 also saw a $30 increase.
This rear glass cost increase is due to the addition of Qi2 magnets and a larger camera cutout on the Pixel 10.

Why should I care? Accidents happen, and our phones are prone to drops, impacts and collisions. There’s a chance you’ll need to seek a repair for your smartphone at some point during its lifetime – although we hope this doesn’t happen.

Transparency on the cost of replacements parts at least gives us an idea of how expensive a repair might be.

These two deals make sense for different reasons: the Pixel 10a is the better all-around Android buy, while the Moto G Play is the cheapest phone here that still has a clear job.
