What’s happened? Samsung is now rolling out the One UI 8 software update for users of the Galaxy S23 entry in the US. This is coming after more recently launched devices in Samsung’s lineup got access to the upgrade.

  • Despite being excluded from the global rollout phase, Galaxy S23 devices in the US are finally getting the software update.
  • As reported by Sam Mobile, Galaxy S23 users in the US took to various online platforms to report their devices getting One UI 8.

Why is this important? The Samsung One UI 8 software update officially became available on September 15, 2025. In the week of its release, One UI 8 arrived on on the Galaxy S25 series and then the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 shortly after.

Another Apple price hike just landed, this time on Apple One

Apple has raised the monthly price of its Family and Premier Apple One bundles in the US. The Family plan now costs $27.95 per month, up from $25.95, while Premier has climbed from $37.95 to $39.95. Both plans are now $2 more expensive each month, adding another $24 to the annual bill. The Individual plan remains unchanged at $19.95 per month.

The increase arrives shortly after Apple raised subscription prices for Apple Music across its student, individual, and family plans. New AppleCare+ customers buying coverage for Macs and iPads have also been hit by higher prices recently.
