Spotify has been quietly embedding itself into the AI assistants you use every day. The music app already works inside Claude and ChatGPT, where you can control and improve your listening experience through simple conversation.

Today, Spotify is taking things a step further by launching ‘Save to Spotify’, a new beta tool that turns your AI agent into a personal podcast producer.

If you’re already using an AI agent like OpenClaw, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex on desktop, you can now prompt it to turn things – like your daily digest, class notes, travel plans, or a deep dive into any topic – into a Personal Podcast.

The Personal Podcast is saved to your Spotify library as an audio episode built from whatever you asked for. So you can catch up on your day during your morning commute instead of scrambling through notes.

How to create Personal Podcasts through Save to Spotify?

Getting started takes just a few minutes. Head to the Save to Spotify CLI GitHub page and follow the installation instructions. You’ll be asked to sign in to your Spotify account through your browser, and once that’s done, the tool is ready.

From there, describe the Personal Podcast you want and ask your agent to save it to Spotify. A link will appear that takes you straight to Your Library, where it’s waiting to play.

Not sure what to ask? Try these prompts to create your Personal Podcasts on Spotify

Here are some prompts recommended by Spotify that you can try and adjust based on your needs:

  • Pull from my calendar for the day and flag anything back-to-back or that needs prep. Check my inbox for anything urgent or time-sensitive. Grab 2-3 stories from my feeds that are actually worth knowing about today. And recommend a podcast to listen to on my commute. Keep it under 5 minutes.
  • Make me an audio itinerary about my upcoming trip. Summarize my flight details, tell me the best route to go to the airport and recommend the best restaurants and dishes from their menus, shopping and museums in the neighborhoods I’m visiting.
  • Build me an audio session that dives deep into the history of the World Cup with details about key players, where it’s been held and what I should know about the games this year.

Spotify also dropped another update today. You can now make song requests to its AI DJ in four new languages in addition to English and Spanish. So go ahead and make your requests in whatever language feels right.

I tried a hidden video trick in iOS 27, and it saved me a ton of frustration
Better quality, smaller file size, and no status bar. iOS 27's video frame feature beats screenshots on every count.

If you've ever been on vacation and chose to record video instead of taking photos only to avoid missing the fun moments, thinking you’d pause and take screenshots later, you might have ended up questioning your decision later.

You see, the process involves multiple steps, starting from hunting for the right frame, pausing, and taking a screenshot. If it doesn’t look good, you go back to the video, pause somewhere else, and try taking another screenshot. You see where I’m going with this?
