What’s happened? A new leak has detailed a Feature Drop headed to Google Pixel phones in November.

  • As per images shared by Mystic Leaks on Telegram, the update will introduce a new Pixel Theme Packs feature, offering one-tap customization for the wallpaper, icons, sounds, and GIFs. It will reportedly debut with a “Wicked: For Good” pack featuring three themes.
  • Along with new theme packs, the leak points to an update for the Pixel Studio app that will let users transform generated images into GIFs or animated stickers.
  • Lastly, it highlights a change for the Pixel VIPs feature, which will prioritize message notifications from selected contacts.

Why is this important? The next Pixel Feature Drop was expected to arrive alongside the Android 16 QPR2 update in December, but the leak suggests Pixel users may get these features a month early.

  • The new Pixel Theme Packs will offer users a quicker way to refresh the look and feel of their devices, eliminating the need to manually change wallpapers, icons, sounds, and GIFs.
  • The Pixel Studio update will make creating GIFs and animated stickers easier than ever.
  • Priority notifications from Pixel VIPs will ensure users never miss important messages.

Why should I care? Customizing your Pixel and giving it a fresh look will just take a quick tap with the new Pixel Theme Packs.

  • If you enjoy using Pixel Studio to generate images, you’ll now also be able to turn them into GIFs or animated stickers and share them with friends.
  • Plus, with Pixel VIPs getting priority notifications, you can stay on top of messages from your top contacts without digging through all notifications.

What’s next? The leak suggests that this Pixel Drop could reach the Pixel 10 series and older models starting November 4. Although this aligns with Google’s usual update schedule for Pixel devices, it’s best to take this information with a grain of salt. Keep an eye out for an official announcement in the coming days for the full list of changes and eligible devices.

Minimal Phone 2 has entered waitlist mode with a clear promise. Minimal says its next phone is coming soon with a smaller, more refined design, a better keyboard, an aluminum body, and improved software.

The first Minimal Phone already tested whether people wanted an Android device that slowed phone use down without cutting off everyday tools. Its e-paper screen and physical keyboard made endless feeds less comfortable, while keeping apps, messaging, payments, and other basics within reach.
