Introduced to gaming in the mid-’90s, I was lucky to experience consoles from before my time. The PS1 is the first console I called my own, and I spent early mornings with Spyro, Gex, and Crash Bandicoot when I wasn’t hunting down legendaries in the original Pokemon Red. I grew into the kid who ran home after school to binge-watch G4TV and listen to gaming podcasts (before everyone had one). I’ve stopped the Reapers, completed more Baal runs, and wasted more wasteland bandits than I can keep count of.
