You might have trouble believing that Kellen Lutz is a high schooler, but the muscular guy is playing one in the new film A Warrior’s Heart.
Lutz is Conor Sullivan, a high school lacrosse star, who is in shock and denial over his father’s death in Iraq. He begins to start acting out in self-destructive ways. He gets kicked off the team and sent to a wilderness camp run by his dad’s combat buddy, Sgt. Major Duke Wayne (Adam Beach). At the camp, which is for Native American youth, he learns to embrace lacrosse’s Native American roots and he opens his eyes to the meaning of sportsmanship and life.
A Warrior’s Heart will be out in theater’s on December 2.
