After Amazon unveiled its first Kindle-branded Android tablet, the Kindle Fire, there were a few demo stations set up to show off the device’s interface. All of the demos were hands-off, but we were allowed to ask questions and see the tablet in person. This demo runs through most of the basic features of the Kindle Fire, from its coverflow+bookshelf interface to its multitasking, and a bunch of other little things. Overall, we were pretty impressed, but until we have one in house, there are plenty of questions left unanswered. If you’re interested in the $199 Kindle Fire, we recommend you watch this video.
