Battlefield Heroes leaves the safe confines of Earth

Battlefield Heroes leaves the safe confines of Earth

The last time we heard from the National and Royal factions, they were building robots to do battle for them. Somehow after that, the disparate groups reached a peace accord which resulted in a scientific alliance. In a gesture of friendship and peace, the two nations launched simultaneous rockets to the moon. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Battlefield Heroes add-on pack if the two nations weren’t duking it out, and that peaceful alliance goes kaput five minutes after touchdown.

With the latest content pack, players get a new map, Lunar Landing, weapons, and costumes. With the campaign moving into space, expect gravity to be a factor as you try to move about the map and shoot your enemies. The new costumes include a range of outfits designed for space-faring adventure and to let the combatants breathe–safety and all that.

National and Royal scientists also developed weapons that wouldn’t discharge and destroy rockets. These new ones are safe, but deadly, and all of them are energy or laser based.

If you’re a fan of Battlefield Heroes you can pick up the Moon add-on today.
