Bioshock Infinite VGA trailer

Bioshock Infinite trailers continue to impress. The weekend’s trailer from the Spike Video Game Awards show is no exception.

It’s only a minute-long but the flashes of the sky-city, Columbia, look great. You’ll catch glimpses of Elizabeth, the game’s damsel in distress, Booker DeWitt, the Pinkerton hero and some crazy metal monsters. One you’ve seen before in the giant bird but the new one is the mechasuit with a balding guy peeking out of the top.

Nothing else is new is particularly shown off but the trailer is well-cut and the version of the gospel hymn “Will the Circle be Unbroken?” sounds great. We’ve read that Courtnee Draper, the voice behind Elizabeth, is the singer in the trailer. It would be cool to have a cut of this for download.

Bioshock Infinite doesn’t have an official release date beyond “2012” yet but it is slated to be on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
