E3 2010: Hands On with the Forcetek Xio Gaming Exoskeleton

If Forcetek’s Xio ever reaches the market motion gaming will get a whole lot crazier. It’s a gaming exoskeleton that literally straps onto your arm and wrist like something out of Tony Stark’s lab. It then translates the motion of your arm directly into the game. Besides offering input thats more complext than the swishing of a Wii-mote, the Xio will eventually be able to mimic force — like simulating the weight of a basketball in the hand. That should reinforce muscle memory and more closely simulate the motions from the screen.
