Chloe Grace Moretz has had quite the varied career for a young actor. She’s been in a surprising number of horror films, from Room 6 to the upcoming Carrie remake (with her as the titular Carrie). However, she’s gained most of her fame from turns in (500) Days of Summer and as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass.
Her latest film has the young actor portraying Luli, a small town teenager who runs away from her alcoholic and abusive parents. She steals a gun and some money with the goal of reaching the bright lights of Las Vegas. Along the way she’ll encounter a number of characters including Eddie (Eddie Redmayne), an unstable individual with questionable motives, and Glenda (Blake Lively), a cocaine-snorting drifter.
Hick was adapted for the screen by Derick Martini from the critically acclaimed novel by Andrea Portes and also stars Juliette Lewis and Alec Baldwin.
Look for Hick in select theaters next week, starting on May 11.
