On Jan. 11, T-Mobile will launch the first Nokia Windows Phone to come to the US: the Lumia 710. Last night, the carrier held a rather crazy party in New York to celebrate (pictures here). It wasn’t easy, but we snagged a few minutes with one of the few demo units at the show. This video is an impromptu impressions piece. We apologize for the lack of lighting and the loud music.
For those wondering, the Lumia 710 is a budget phone. It will launch for $50 and doesn’t have the premium feeling of the Lumia 800 or the HTC Radar. The specs are fairly similar to all Windows Phones: 1.4GHz processor, 8GB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, LCD screen (Super AMOLED is the best display type for Windows Phone due to the heavy use of black in the OS).
