Tribeca Film is a studio that releases smaller movies that tend to be made in and around New York City — more specifically Brooklyn. Their films tend to have actors that you’ve probably never seen, save maybe that Ed Burns film we noted a while ago. We’ve post trailers for a few of their movies in the past.
The latest from Tribeca is Northeast from writer William Lehman and director Gregory Kohn. The film follows Will (David Call), an unemployed, aimless playboy in Brooklyn. He’s spent his 20s skating by on his easy charm and having casual one night stands and distant affairs. However, as he enters his 30s he notices his friends gradually settling into steady jobs and committed relationships. He decides he needs to join them and starts on his journey to find someone to settle with.
Look for Northeast on January 12, 2012 in a limited theatrical release.
