Transformers: Fall of Cybertron – Making of the cinematic trailer

During the VGAs over the weekend High Moon Studio revealed a new trailer for their upcoming Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

With this behind-the-scenes look at the making of the cinematic trailer you’ll hear about the inspiration for the trailer and what the developers, High Moon Studios, wanted fans and gamers to see. Mostly, it sounds like they wanted to make an emotional connection with players to show that this game will have a compelling story beyond robot brawling.

Do check it out.

And if you’re interested in the song, “The Humbling River”, the video neglects to mention who sings the song. Well, it’s from Puscifer, a side-project from Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle. Milla Jovovich of Resident Evil fame provides backing vocals. Check out the full version here.

The game is due out in 2012 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
