Check out this first look at Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 development kit. It mostly just shows some of the new features and things that the latest engine is capable of. These include smoothing out natural motion as in waving plants and clothes or detailed hair models from haircuts to facial hair. They also show that you can use the latest UDK to make games specifically for iOS and determine which direction it plays in (landscape or portrait).
It’s an interesting look into what the Unreal Engine 3 is capable of and what potential developers (or fans) might be able to do with it.
