Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon chip will take VR, AR to the next level

Qualcomm introduced the world's first platform dedicated to extended reality (XR) with the launch of its Snapdragon XR1 chip and headset design. XR is an umbrella term used to group virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality. Vuzix, Pico, Meta, and HTC's Vive are already signed on.
