A couple years ago, I would complain about people texting me to check my email, or Facebook messaging me to log into Twitter, or just generally middle-manning technology. And now, my brain is preparing to explode once again. You can now buy smart leggings that will tell you what jeans to buy, because now, we need one piece of clothing to tell us how another will fit. Thanks to “smart leggings” LikeAGlove, you’ll now be able to scour the Internet for the perfect pair of jeans to fit your unique figure in just five seconds. So really, you’re just becoming your own personal shopper.

As per LikeAGlove’s website, “Our one-size-fits-all, smart elastic leggings will snuggly fit you no matter what size or shape you are. Just turn the leggings on with the press of a button and they are ready to accurately measure your figure.” Thanks to an abundance of sensors and conductive fibers woven into the clothing, after donning the leggings and pushing a rather unfortunately placed orange button, you’ll have key measurements like the length of your leg, waist, thigh, inseam, and upper and lower hips to go off of when you start the arduous task of jean shopping.

But of course, if you don’t want to leave your house to buy the perfect pair of pants, LikeAGlove will also pull pants from its 2,000-strong database for your online shopping pleasure. They’re staying mum on their brand partners for now, but a promo video suggests that names like 7 For All Mankind, Hudson, and Citizen of Humanity may be included.

For the time being, you can order LikeAGlove leggings for $39.99, but this price will soon more than double to $99.99 in a week. And moving forward, the company is hopeful that they’ll be able to expand the technology to include other types of clothing, like tops, dresses, and more.
