Hermes is releasing a limited edition Apple Watch band on Thanksgiving

Hermes’ deal with Apple for the Apple Watch bands wasn’t a one-time thing, it seems. The company will be launching a slew of new bands on Thursday, according to recent reports.

One band, in particular, will be released by the company. It’s called the Equator Tatoutage. It’s designed by Robert Dallet and will be available in limited numbers, according to a report from Vogue. The band is based on the Simple Tour band already available for the Apple Watch, but with jungle imagery and a jaguar pattern.

As a Hermes band, it won’t come cheap — to get one for yourself you will have to shell out about $442, which is quite a bit more than the standard Simple Tour band, which comes at $368 and is already one of the more expensive Apple Watch bands. You can only get the new band from a Hermes boutique.

Hermes is the only fashion-focused brand Apple has partnered with for the Apple Watch to date. The company has, however, also buddied up with Nike to offer the Apple Watch Nike+, which comes with a more sports-focused band. Of course, the actual watch itself is the same — it offers just as many fitness tracking features. You can also specifically buy the Apple Watch Hermes, though the only difference between that and a standard Apple Watch is its band and a few custom watch faces.

The Apple Watch, in general, has been touted as one of the more stylish smart offerings, despite the fact that some suggest it looks a little too modern to be a truly classic watch. While some would have preferred a round design, the device is sleek and modern, and partnerships like the one with Hermes helps make that even truer.

A cardiologist told me that wearable health should be quiet. RingConn’s Gen 3 smart ring embodies that mantra.
Body Part, Finger, Hand

When I first got my hands on a smart ring years ago, I was extremely skeptical. Is the sensor accurate? What about the fragility? Can they match the biosensing chops of smartwatches? And more such doubts kept swirling through my mind. The underlying tech, on the other hand, has evolved dramatically.

Yet, as the technology evolved, so did the consumer requirements and the trust requirements. Can a smart ring truly blend into your lifestyle without making any compromises? I am currently testing the RingConn Gen 3 smart ring, and so far, it has emerged as the most holistic and feature-packed product of its kind. I’ve tested over half a dozen smart rings in the past year alone , so I don’t make such claims lightly.

The Galaxy Watch 8 at $218 is the Prime Day smartwatch deal I’d recommend to most people
If you've been waiting for a reason to buy a smartwatch, Prime Day's record-low Galaxy Watch 8 deal might be it.
Clock face on Samsung Galaxy Watch 8.

Smartwatch deals are everywhere during Prime Day, but few stand out quite like this one. Samsung's Galaxy Watch 8 has dropped to $218.49 for the 40mm Bluetooth model, down from its $349.99 list price, and it's the lowest price we've seen since launch.
