Those who use iTunes in the UK are making Apple very happy, as the computer company today announced their online music store is the number one of its kind on the island nation.
Data from the Official Charts Company shows that iTunes UK occupies approximately 80 percent of digital music sales. The store features more than 1.7 million songs from the major music companies and over 1,000 independent record labels, as well as 10,000 audiobooks. It also carries 15,000 Podcasts, including several from the BBC, which currently hold six of the Top 10 slots on the Podcast chart..
