I bought this bike for getting around town. I live in a fairly bike-friendly city and needed something that does well on the street and in traffic. The Soltera.2 appealed to me because it weighs less than a lot of other brands, and is simple enough for my needs while also looking very sleek and low profile.

Putting together the bike was very straightforward. The battery is easy to detach for charging, and charges pretty quick. It also seems to last a long time so far. I love the dark blue color, although the paint does seem like it will chip easily. I ordered the Aventon fenders that are listed as compatible with this model. The instructions (diagrams) were a bit wonky and they took some messing with to fit properly. Once on they seem great.

I really love the full color display. The turn signals are super cool and get a lot of attention when I show off the bike.

I took one ride on a smooth dirt bike trail and quickly learned to go slow or it will slide out. The tires are definitely more ideal for pavement.

As others have mentioned, the seat is a bit uncomfortable and eventually I will probably switch it out for something with more cushion. I might also consider shocks to reduce the bumpiness.

After two weeks I am really happy with my bike! At this price point I’m not sure if you can do any better! Highly recommend.

I’ve ridden a few e-bikes and they’re enjoyable as an e-bike but not so much as just a bike without the e-assist. The Soltera.2 is awesome with or without the e-assist! It’s light in weight but not on performance. I’m really enjoying it! It is awesome!!!

Love the bike especially like the ease of use, brake light and turn signals. Main reason for purchasing is the weight! 43 pounds

Haven’t been on a bike for a long time. Did tons of research and just liked the way Aventon operated. Great reviews not just from there site but from other bike review pages. Assembly was easy and well thought out. Packaging is eco conscious. Loved it from the first maiden voyage. FYI I’m just an urban for fun rider for about 30 miles a day and I’m beyond happy. You won’t be disappointed.

Got this on sale during Memorial Day weekend for just $799. Loving the bike so far. I appreciate how the bike feels and operates as a normal bike if you choose not to use the electric feature. Only downside which I plan to upgrade asap, is the lack of shocks for uneven ground. I plan to upgrade the seat post to a shock absorbent one soon to offset the bumps in the road.
