Saddle up with the VW Buggy Up!

Add as a preferred source on Google

Volkswagen had a lot to show off at the latest Frankfurt Auto Show and one of the cooler concepts on display was the Buggy Up! Part of a fleet that included other VW concepts under the ‘Up!’ moniker, the Buggy Up! is a new spin on the urban hatchback with it’s removed doors and waterproof cockpit. Two neoprene bucket seats, drain holes, a removable infotainment module and fabric roof all accompany this funky and fun design, perfect for your weekend beach getaways.

No word on whether the Buggy Up! will make the transition from concept to production, but here is hoping the folks over in Wolfsburg take a chance on this little gem.

Xpeng Mona L05

Xpeng has launched the Mona L05 in China with a starting price of 139,800 yuan (around $20,800), bringing a new electric crossover with up to 635 km of claimed range, an extended-range option and a technology-heavy cabin to its mass-market lineup. While the vehicle is not confirmed for the US market, its combination of pricing, range and features offers a glimpse of the competition American automakers face as Chinese EV makers expand overseas.

The five-seat mid-size SUV is available with fully electric and extended-range electric powertrains. The launch also comes as Xpeng looks beyond China, with the company targeting 65 countries and regions for the model.
