Before we go exploring the Go Drive, let’s take a look at the Company, VisionTek. This was not the same VisionTek that we used to know several years ago. I still have the Xtasy Personal Cinema from the old VisionTek running. VisionTek was acquired by Hartford Computer Group in December, 2002 and began partnering with ATI. According to The Information, which cited people familiar with the project, Meta and Fourier built the prototype, internally called Max, in around three months. The roughly 48kg robot is part of Meta's broader ambition to develop humanoids that could eventually carry out everyday tasks in people's homes.
