InFocus X3 Projector Announced

With the new InFocus X3, consumers will experience crisp, clear data and video projected every time in wall-filling sizes because of the extensive connectivity enabling use with computers, PDAs, DVD players, satellite TV receivers, video game consoles and other business tools and consumer electronic devices.

At 6.8 lbs., the InFocus X3 provides excellent video quality with 1600 lumens, 2000:1 contrast ratio and automatic deinterlacing for smooth, true-to-life images that meet the needs of business presentations and provide outstanding projection for after-work entertainment. The InFocus X3 also offers superior video quality through the integration of advanced technology, including DarkChip2 DLP(TM) technology from Texas Instruments(R) for sharp, colorful images that won’t deteriorate over time and provide amazing picture-quality when displaying DVDs or television.

Additionally, the X3 is wirelessly enabled and can be used with InFocus LiteShow(R), InFocus’ secure wireless solution, to change the way consumers view and share information in a collaborative setting. Now multiple business presenters can share the projector with a touch of a button instead of hassling with a cable stretched across the table or room.

To enhance the experience, InFocus offers several accessories for the X3, including portable screens for the mobile professional or TV enthusiast, ceiling mounts, cables, and specialized carry cases with color-coded cable organizers.

Availability

The InFocus X3 will be available in May 2005 for $1,199. For more information about the InFocus X3 and complementary products, please visit www.infocus.com.
