Intuit Releases Quickbooks/eBay Add-On

Add as a preferred source on Google

Small business owners who make money off of online auction giant eBay will be happy to know they have a new tool to help them better track their transactions. Financial software company Intuit today announced they released a QuickBooks add-on called eBay Accounting Assistant, which will allow users of the finance program to track sales, fees and profits.

The Accounting Assistant will allow eBay users to import eBay and PayPal transactions directly into QuickBooks. This ability to automate the downloading of transaction and payment data will, says Intuit, eliminate the need to manually enter data, saving time and providing increased accuracy of information in the books.

“Running a small business is an exciting, but tough challenge. The businesses that succeed are the ones who stay on top of their finances,” said Brian Dennehy, vice president of marketing for Intuit’s QuickBooks. “eBay’s Accounting Assistant provides thousands of eBay sellers a quick and easy path to QuickBooks so they can track where money is coming from and where it is going — one of the most important steps businesses can take to ensure they are successful.”

Apple's Mac Studio may not be getting a fresh new look anytime soon, but it could be getting a meaningful upgrade where it matters most. According to Mark Gurman in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Apple is preparing an M5 Ultra-powered Mac Studio as early as this year, while an even more powerful M7 Ultra version is already on the company's roadmap for 2028. Interestingly, the report also claims Apple is redesigning one component most users will never see: the heat sink.
