Watch: Enemies join forces in new Warcraft movie TV spot

Warcraft fans still have months to go before the Warcraft movie hits theaters, but a new TV spot may help make the wait a little more bearable. The short trailer premiered Sunday during the NFL conference championship games, giving viewers a new look at familiar footage.

The new TV spot focuses on the unlikely alliance of humans and orcs, showing how neither group seems thrilled with — or confident in — the idea of teaming up. Between epic action and war scenes, we see snippets of each race expressing their strong doubts. The kingdom of Azeroth is also showcased, in all of its breathtaking glory.

Based on the popular video game franchise, the movie focuses on Azeroth as the civilization is poised to face war. In the face of the threat, humans and orcs alike find themselves in danger and decide that joining forces is in their mutual best interest, as the TV spot shows, however distasteful the prospect. The film stars Travis Fimmel, Toby Kebbell, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Ben Schnetzer, Ruth Negga, and more.

Director Duncan Jones had announced in a tweet earlier Sunday that he’d received news that fans could expect to see the new TV spot during the AFC and NFC championship games, giving them a chance to prepare themselves for the excitement to come.

In addition to helming the film, Jones also co-wrote the screenplay with Charles Leavitt. The flick is produced by Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment, and Atlas Entertainment.

Warcraft opens in theaters on June 10 after previously being pushed back from its original release date. Fans’ patience will, however, soon be rewarded.

strongest horror movie villains ranked hulu movies babadook

The Boogeyman is one of the most prevalent creatures in worldwide folklore. Though he appears differently with a different name in each culture, just about every child has been scared by the tale of how the Boogeyman will get them if they don't behave. As a result, many films and TV shows have utilized the concept of this mythical figure actually existing in some shape or form, with some characters becoming their own version of the Boogeyman.

Author Stephen King recently had his story about this legendary creature made into a blockbuster film. To audiences who want to see more stories about this kind of monster, these films and TV shows should be scary enough to make you check under your bed after watching them.
