T-Mobile has launched a new beta service that backpackers, adventurers, travelers, and die-hard texters will love. T-Satellite with Starlink is a new service that seamlessly connects you to a satellite, so you can always text, virtually anywhere.

If you want the peace of mind that comes with knowing your whole family is reachable via text wherever they are, this service is for you – it puts everyone’s adventures on the grid! Let’s dive into what T-Satellite offers, and how you can sign up.

What is T-Mobile’s T-Satellite?

T-Satellite is T-Mobile’s new satellite service that lets you text from anywhere with a view of the sky. The program is in its beta phase right now, but anyone can join , even on other carriers, until July when the program officially launches.

T-Satellite will automatically kick in when you lose service. If you whip out your phone to text someone from the middle of a national park, you won’t even notice that you’re using the satellite service, since it will look, feel, and work just like the texting service you use everywhere else. T-Mobile’s goal is a seamless texting experience that isn’t hindered by dead zones.

The transition to T-Satellite is automatic. You don’t have to switch to a new app, activate a new setting, or wave your phone above your head to try and get a signal. T-Mobile’s tagline is “If you can see the sky, you’re connected.”

Who can access T-Satellite?

T-Satellite is in its beta phase right now, with the full service launching in July, at which point it will be included in the Experience Beyond plan. If you switch to the Experience More plan right now, you’ll get free satellite service for the rest of the year. The beta is completely free.

There’s an even more surprising offer: You can get T-Satellite even if you’re a Verizon or AT&T customer. It’s just $10 per month for a limited time. T-Mobile is the only US service provider with both mobile and satellite coverage, so it’s cool that anyone can access the satellite service.

Adventurers should check out the beta program for T-Satellite at T-Mobile. There are some great benefits for signing up before the service officially launches – and you’ll have peace of mind knowing you’re always connected.
