Google AI Plus is now available in the US, part of a rollout to 35 new countries and territories. It’s live now.

In the US, the plan costs $7.99 per month, and new subscribers get 50% off for the first two months for a limited time. Google says pricing varies by country elsewhere, so you’ll see your local rate during sign-up.

Google AI Plus bundles access to Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro in the Gemini app, plus AI tools in Flow and NotebookLM. You also get 200GB of storage you can share with up to five family members.

What you actually get

Think of this as two bundles in one, model access plus everyday utilities. The Gemini side is the main draw, with paid access to Gemini 3 Pro and Nano Banana Pro in the Gemini app. Simple.

The other half is about what you can do with it. Google calls out Flow for AI filmmaking tools and NotebookLM for research and writing help, so the plan isn’t just a chat upgrade.

The storage benefit matters too. That 200GB can be shared with up to five family members, which pushes the value beyond one person’s usage.

Why this rollout matters

This expansion makes the subscription available in more places at the same time, including the US. If you’ve wanted a paid step up without jumping to a higher tier, Google AI Plus is now the obvious entry point.

It also changes things for some people who already pay Google for storage. Google says Google One Premium 2TB subscribers in the newly added countries and territories will get Google AI Plus benefits automatically in the next few days. That’s a real shift.

There’s one tradeoff, clarity. Google doesn’t include a market-by-market list of the 35 locations in the announcement, and local pricing requires a check at checkout.

What to do next

If you’re in the US, ask two questions. Will you use the stronger Gemini access, and will your household benefit from the extra 200GB?

If you’re outside the US, open the sign-up flow and confirm the local price and availability before you commit. And if you already have Google One Premium 2TB in a newly added market, keep an eye on your account over the next few days to see when the AI Plus perks switch on.

I went hands-on with Dell’s new slim laptops, and the new 14S hits a sweet spot below XPS prices
Dell’s new 14S and 16S may be the balanced Windows laptops I’ve been waiting for
Dell 16S on display

Dell’s new XPS 13 recently gave me renewed hope for affordable Windows laptops. Its $699 starting price. Its sharp touchscreen display and compact aluminum design make it a compelling alternative to the MacBook Neo. But at the same event, Dell had more in store for us.

I also spent time with the Dell 14S and Dell 16S, which are two laptops that target buyers who like the XPS 13's slim and polished approach. These two laptops target buyers who like the XPS 13's slim and polished approach but need more performance, a larger battery, or a roomier display. They also occupy an interesting position in Dell’s lineup. With prices just a couple of hundred dollars above the XPS 13 in the US, the duo sit right between the inexpensive XPS 13 and below the far more premium XPS 14.

Talking to your computer instead of typing to it might sound like a sci-fi fantasy, but OpenAI is betting big on it. In a chat with Joanna Stern on her YouTube channel, OpenAI president Greg Brockman confirmed that the company is not stopping at just one gadget. Get ready, because a whole family of devices is on the way.

When Stern brought up rumors of an AI smart speaker, Brockman did not confirm or deny it. Instead, he said, "we're building a family of devices," adding that the focus is not on any single product but on delivering value over time. As for a launch date, Brockman kept things just as mysterious, only saying, "you should expect them soon."
