MediaOne integrates InterVideo’s award-winning WinDVD software, the ultimate in DVD playback with over 100 million installations worldwide; WinDVD Creator, an easy solution for capturing, editing, authoring and burning; and DVD Copy, a simple three-step software for making identical copies of personal unencrypted* DVDs and CDs. Also incorporated in the suite are InterVideo DiscMaster, Smart Backup, PhotoAlbum and Disc Label. With the easy-to-use Task Intelligent Launcher, Archive Video to Disc, and Direct CD/DVD capabilities, users have a complete 9-in-1 solution for all of their multimedia tasks.

Now, Singapore-based OKA Technology has unveiled Mori, a cute little AI companion that looks less like a conventional home robot and more like someone turned the Pokémon Foongus into a table lamp.

Mori isn't meant to clean your house or control your smart home, but to serve as what OKA calls a "Nature Companion." It uses subtle movements, warm lighting, nature-inspired sounds, and small reactions to make its presence around the house feel calming rather than distracting. Mori can sit quietly while you read, sway along to music, welcome you when you enter a room, or encourage you to slow down for a moment without requiring a screen or a conversation.

Arc browser is shutting down on December 22, following a long spell of maintenance-only work as the company behind it moves forward with its successor, Dia. Earlier today, The Browser Company announced that the beloved web browser will ride into the sunset in two months, but will continue development of the Dia browser.

"That's not an easy sentence to write. We spent years building Arc and celebrating each and every release along the way: we have so much pride and love for what we made alongside the Arc community," says the company.
