NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX Debuted

PC Magazine says the NVIDIA GeoForce Go 7950 GTZ is the world’s fastest mobile graphics processing unit (GPU), supporting games and applications for DirectX 9.0, Shader Model 3.0, and high dymanic range (HDR) lighting.

The efficient NVIDIA GeForce 7 series GPU architecture continues to deliver the ultimate visual experience in notebooks of every class—from lightweight ultra-portables to HD DVD multimedia machines," says Jeff Fisher, Senior Vice President of the GPU Business Unit at NVIDIA. "Notebooks based on our flagship GeForce Go 7950 GTX GPU will deliver the premiere visceral experience for gamers."

"Dell is fully committed to delivering the most intensely realistic gaming and entertainment experience to PC gamers," said Brett Faulk, director of Inspiron and mobile XPS product marketing. "Dell XPS notebooks have swept the awards thanks to their sheer gaming performance and the Dell XPS M1710 with GeForce Go 7950 GTX is our best yet."

Among those planned to introduce new laptops featuring the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950 GTX graphics adapter are Dell, Sager, ABS, Falcon Northwest, Hypersonic, ProStar, and Voodoo PC.

Nvidia will soon be powering its version of the metaverse with the same robust infrastructure that powers the company's GeForce Now cloud gaming platform. Nvidia revealed Omniverse Cloud during its GTC 2022 keynote, which brings Nvidia's suite of metaverse tools to nearly any PC.

Although Omniverse has been around for years, this is the first time we're seeing the suite of tools in the cloud. By leveraging GeForce Now's graphics power, many more developers and creators will be able to instantly access the hardware, apps, and resources needed to contribute. “With Omniverse in the cloud, we can connect teams worldwide to design, build, and operate virtual worlds and digital twins,” Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said.

Why use NVIDIA's GeForce NOW instead of a traditional rig?

AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT vs. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070

AMD is refreshing its RX 6000 graphics cards, which launched a year and a half ago in November 2020. Between the RX 6650 XT and the RX 6950 XT, we have the new RX 6750 XT, the replacement for the RX 6700 XT that launched in March 2021. This upper mid range GPU is positioned against Nvidia's RTX 3070, so we threw both of them into the ring to see how they stack up.

The RX 6750 XT hasn't launched yet, so we are relying on AMD's benchmarks at the moment. Although AMD isn't lying, it definitely wants to show this GPU in a positive light against the best graphics cards.
