Sunseeker recently introduced its newest consumer-grade product, the X3 Plus Wireless Robotic Mower, to improve how households handle lawn mowing.

Product release is timely for Sunseeker. Having recently entered the U.S. market and achieved commercial success with its professional X7 series, the company is now focusing again on the residential market. The X3 Plus is tailored to small to medium-sized lawns.

At the heart of the X3 Plus is AONavi™, Sunseeker’s proprietary hybrid navigation system, blending RTK-GNSS satellite navigation with VSLAM (visual simultaneous localization and mapping). This cutting-edge technology enables the X3 Plus to navigate outdoor areas with astonishing precision, dispensing with the need for buried boundary wires or hand guiding. This means a simple setup and reliable results for homeowners, even in tricky zones with tree cover or structural obstacles.

The companion mobile app allows customers to set mowing areas, designate off-limits areas, and program scheduling with end-to-end control and visibility. When used, the mower adapts to its surroundings dynamically, providing coverage while modifying its route as required.

Besides navigation, the X3 Plus features a high-end binocular vision system with artificial intelligence support. The mower is capable of detecting and avoiding over 200 kinds of objects, ranging from tools and toys to flower beds and pets. This ability contributes to more secure operation and reduces the threat of property damage or performance interruption.

The mower is also equipped with automatic rain-sensing, self-docking, self-charging, and multi-zone capability, providing users with a trouble-free experience once the settings are set up.

The X3 Plus can cut 0.8 to 2.4 inches, making it suitable for routine maintenance. The manufacturer recommends manual mowing once before running the X3 Plus. As the X3 Plus begins to work, it gives an even height, can help improve turf quality, and works at a noise level of under 60 decibels.

Sunseeker prioritized the most meaningful features regarding usability and safety. The mower is Alexa and Google Assistant enabled, features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and has an IPX5 water-resistant rating for cleaning and durability.

The introduction of the X3 Plus is a prime example of Sunseeker’s overall strategic goal: to expand entry to outdoor automation. By delivering premium-grade technologies in an easy-to-use and streamlined package, the company is making the X3 Plus an ideal entry point for homeowners who want to adopt robotic lawn care without the hassle often found in high-end products.

With presence in more than eleven countries, the launch of the X3 Plus demonstrates the brand’s commitment to serving professionals and private homes with differentiated product levels.

Think.Build.Scale: demystifying the black box of capital equipment development

Apps and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms dominate innovation headlines today. However, few stop to ask: what about the machines that make those breakthroughs possible? Who’s building the surgical robots, automotives, assembly lines, and clean energy systems that underpin the future? Think.Build.Scale, a new podcast hosted by capital equipment strategist and engineering lead Prachurya Bharadwaj, dares to answer these questions. It brings hardware back to center stage, offering a glimpse into the capital-intensive process of turning raw ideas into billion-dollar machines.

Bharadwaj is a high-value consultant with extensive experience in some of the most advanced innovations in capital equipment and industrial hardware. She aims to peel back the complex layers to show what it takes to transform a napkin sketch into a fully functioning product on the factory floor.
