Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for Xbox Series X, PS5 Discounted for Christmas

Black Friday turned into Cyber Monday, which turned into Cyber Week, which is now mixing in with the usual holiday sales. It’s the season of shopping, and Cyber Week deals are some of the last opportunities to buy presents with a guarantee that they’ll arrive by Christmas. One of the hottest Christmas presents this year is sure to be Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the next big hit in the popular first person shooter franchise. If you buy a copy at Walmart right now, you can get $10 off the price, regardless of which system you need it for. That’s $60 for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, $50 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for PlayStation 4 — $50, was $60

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War continues the story of the original Black Ops. But now we’re in the ‘80s — synthesizers, neon lights, and, of course, a long-running cold war between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. Players will shoot their way through settings around the world as they unravel a global conspiracy (and Ronald Reagan makes an appearance). Outside of the single player mode, Black Ops Cold War includes the trademark Call of Duty multiplayer, and the classic Zombie survival mode.

If you’re buying the game as a gift, it’s important to know which system your gift receiver has. Do they have a PlayStation or an Xbox? Is it the newest generation system? The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X just released in November of 2020. If they’re not up to date yet, get them a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One copy. Fortunately both of the new consoles are backwards compatible, so both generations can play last gen’s version. There are tons of great Cyber Week gaming deals to choose from this holiday season.
