Stuck at home and keen to have more Xbox games available to you than you know what to do with? Grab a cheap Xbox Game Pass from CDKeys and you’ll enjoy access to hundreds of different games. Right now, you can grab a two-week subscription to Xbox Game Pass for only $1 or a two-week subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $2. After something a little more long-term? Scroll down to see everything on offer.

Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is perfect for Xbox-only gamers. For the price, you get instant access to more than 400 must-play titles. It’s a solid mixture of new and old hits with all of the big exclusives like the Forza franchise, Halo series, and all the Gears of War games available through the service. There’s room for new IPs too like Sea of Thieves. Both Xbox One and Xbox 360 games are available through Xbox Game Pass with something for everyone’s taste here. Young and old will love it, with new games added regularly.

The best value deal here is the 3-month Xbox Game Pass but if you’ve never tried the service out before, you can’t go wrong with 14 days for just over a dollar.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate works a lot like Xbox Game Pass. You get access to hundreds of games on your Xbox One and Xbox 360 with different titles released on a regular basis. Where it’s worth the extra expense is if you’re also a PC gamer. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offers access to select titles on Windows 10. When we say select, it still means access to over a hundred titles. Games include titles like The Outer Worlds, Forza Horizon 4, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Prey, and many big indie hits, too.

Again, the 3-month deal is the best value choice here. You get plenty of time to dive into hundreds of games, all for less than the price of one new one. Plus, if you also own an Xbox One, you’re seriously never going to run out of options here.

The $1300 Acer Predator Atlas 8 handheld is finally US-bound, and its pre-orders are already sold out
Acer’s first gaming handheld to launch in the US arrives November 1 with Intel Arc G3 Extreme hardware.
Intel Arc G3 Extreme Hands On with Acer Predator Atlas 8

Acer’s Predator Atlas 8 finally has a US release date and price, several months after the company first showed off the handheld in May. The highlight is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme chip inside, which has been adopted by only a couple of other consoles besides the Atlas 8. This version will go on sale exclusively at Best Buy on November 1 for $1,299.99.

Acer originally said the Atlas 8 would arrive in North America in October, but left pricing open at the time. The launch came amid the ongoing DRAM crunch, which has made memory more expensive across the PC industry and complicated pricing for hardware makers.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2026) Review: Almost everything I want from a gaming laptop, except the price
Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop

Quick Take

Gaming laptops and I have a complicated relationship. One of my first gaming rigs was an Acer Predator that was already outdated when I bought it. I was a broke college kid, and that was the best I could afford. So trying out high-end gaming laptops is always fun. But ASUS' ROG Zephyrus G14 is a lot more than a laptop that can run AAA games. It is portable, so you're not lugging around a 2.5kg machine everywhere you go. It is built well, none of that plastic chassis, and can even function as a normal laptop outside of just gaming.

Google Play is copying one of the Nintendo Switch’s handiest features
Sidekick can now save the previous 30 seconds of an Android game after something worth recording has already happened

Google Play is borrowing one of the Nintendo Switch’s most useful little tricks. A new Sidekick tool called Playbacks captures a short clip after something interesting has already happened, sparing players from running a screen recorder throughout an entire game.

Playbacks is part of Google Play Store v53.8 and keeps saved clips on the phone. Google first announced it earlier this month, but the new Play Store update marks its arrival for players. Anyone who has watched a perfect win vanish because the record button came too late already understands the appeal.
