X-Men: Days of Future Past trailer sets the stage for a mutant apocalypse

The future is not looking good for the mutants of the world, as we see in this new trailer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Peter Dinklage may be the only lovable Lannister in Game of Thrones, but he’s the mutant-hating, Sentinel-inventing Bolivar Trask 20th Century Fox’s return to Marvel Comics, and you get your clearest peek yet at his creations in action here.

Days of Future Past sees X-Men and X2: X-Men United director Bryan Singer return to the series for the first time in more than a decade. The movie combines the Marvel mutant universe as Singer envisioned it with the one that director Matthew Vaughn ushered into being in his 2011 take, X-Men: First Class. Key cast members from both appear in Days thanks to a time-twisting plot in which the mutants of the present travel to the past in order to save the future. Or something like that.

According to Xbox's official announcement, the bizarre creation is part of a special giveaway celebrating the company's upcoming trip to Florida.

Steam has so many AI games to review that Valve is changing the rules

Steam has apparently been struggling to keep up with new game submissions. Developers have been forced to wait longer to get their games approved, which has caused Valve to step in to fix things. The company is putting stricter release requirements in place, including one which is absolutely hilarious. Valve needs developers to play their games through Steam before submitting them for review.

In an official Steamworks announcement, Valve acknowledged that a significant increase in game and store page submissions has overwhelmed its review process. The company typically aims to complete game build reviews within three to five days. However, some are now taking up to 12 business days, with repeated reviews contributing heavily to the backlog.

Rockstar Games has just announced that preloads for Grand Theft Auto 6, aka GTA 6, will kick off at midnight on November 10 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. If you’re buying the game from a retailer, code-in-box versions will be available starting November 12, ahead of the game's release on November 19.

"Digital pre-loading on PlayStation 5 will begin on Tuesday, November 10 at midnight local time in your respective time zone. On XBOX Series X|S, pre-loading begins globally on Tuesday, November 10 at 12 a.m. GMT," the studio said in a press statement.
