Acer has unveiled the selection of products set to be on show at Computex next week, with highlights including some slick hybrid devices, a robust new projector, and an intriguing smartphone.

The Acer Switch line is being fleshed out considerably, with two wallet-friendly 2-in-1 notebooks aimed at students and families. Both the Switch V 10 and the Switch One 10 boast multi-touch IPS screens, quad-core Intel Atom processors, and the company’s proprietary Snap Hinge latch-less magnetic hinge design.

The Switch V 10 uses a USB Type-C port to offer supercharged data transfer speeds and efficient charging. It’s available with either 32 GB or 64 GB of storage, and benefits from an extra 500 GB of HDD storage and two USB Type-A ports when used in conjunction with a corresponding keyboard dock.

Acer will make the Switch V 10 available in North America during the third quarter of 2016 at a price point of $249 for the basic model. The child-friendly Switch One 10 is set to launch in July for $199.

New products for commercial use will also be on show at Computex. The BM320 monitor is a 32-inch display designed to give professionals the color accuracy and performance that they need to produce their best work. It supports 100 percent of the Adobe RGB color gamut, 10-bit color depth, and makes full use of its stunning 3,840 x 2,160p resolution panel with its minimalist ZeroFrame design.

Meanwhile, the TravelMate P2 series is expanding with the addition of the 14-inch P249 and the 15.6-inch P259. Both systems utilize sixth-generation Intel Core Processors, Nvidia GeForce 940M graphics, up to 32GB of DDR4 memory, and come with Windows 10 Pro pre-installed as standard.

The TravelMate P2 series is set to launch in North American during the fourth quarter of 2016, with prices starting at $599.

Acer also seems eager to reinforce its position as the third largest projector brand on the planet with the release of the hugely capable V9800. A TI 4K DMD processor allows the device to output more than 8 million pixels, and its super-resolution video engine offers up the ability to upscale and enhance content with sub-par resolutions so it still looks great on a big backdrop.

Finally, there’s the LTE-enabled Liquid Zest Plus smartphone, part of Acer’s efforts to extend its reach into new markets. It’s fitted with a 5,000mAh battery that apparently offers up to three days of use on a single charge, quick charges to half its capacity in less than an hour, and can share its power with other devices using USB On-The-Go technology.

The phone also features a potent 13-megapixel camera that works in conjunction with an ultra-fast hybrid tri-focusing system and is outfitted with several features designed to make taking selfies easier. The Liquid Zest Plus comes with an expandable MicroSD slot, DTS-HD Premium Sound and dual-SIM technology.

Acer will release the Liquid Zest Plus in North America this July, at a price of $199.

The company will be showing all these products and more at its booth in the Nangang Exhibition Hall when Computex 2016 takes over Taipei from May 31 to June 4.
