i.Tech Bluetooth Headsets Run Rings Around Your Ears

Headphone and headset maker i.Tech Dynamic is getting ready to roll out three new Bluetooth headsets at this year’s CES show in Las Vegas, including a its new MyVoice 306 that features a unique stretchy silicon ear loop that wraps around a users’ ear so the headset is always secure—and not falling off into a convenient cup of coffee or plate of food.

The MyVoice 306 will be available in black or white, and supports Bluetooth 2.0+EDR Class 2, has a microUSB charging connector, and handles up to 6 hours of talk time on a single battery charge. But probably most interesting is that silicon ear loop: it’ll come with two sizes (small and large), and the idea is that users wrap is around the back of their ear when wearing the headset instead of fiddling with an earloop or trying to prevent an in-ear headset from falling out. For folks who want a conventional earloop, the MyVoice 306 will ship with one of those too. The black version ships with grey loops, and the white one with red loops: i.Tech expects the MyVoice 306 should be available in the second quarter of 2010 with a suggested price of just $29.99.

i.Tech is also showing off its new VoiceClip 308 and VoiceClip 604, slightly more conventional entrants in the Bluetooth headset world. The VoiceClip 604 is designed to be clipped to a user’s clothing, with an attached cord offering an inline microphone that winds up close to the user’s mouth. The idea is to appeal to users who need a headset at the ready, but detect over-the-head headset or wearing an earpiece when they’re not actually on the phone. It supports Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, offers up to 8 hours’ talk time on a single charge, and has controls for adjusting volume as well as transferring and rejecting calls. Expect to see it in the second quarter for a suggested price of $59.99.

Finally, chatterbugs will appreciate the VoiceClip 308, which offers up to 10 hours of talk time on a single battery charge—and features a buzzer alert for incoming calls. The VoiceClip 308 is designed to clip on to users’ clothing when not in use, keeping the device handy: the device supports Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Class 2, offers microUSB charging, and supports voice dialing (so long as your phone does too), redial, call reject, call transfer, and volume adjustment. The VoiceClip 308 should be available in the second quarter for a suggested price of $29.99.

The Honor Magic 6 RSR is my new favorite Android phone of 2024
Someone holding the Honor Magic 6 RSR outside.

There's no doubt that 2024 has already been an exciting year for Android phones. Samsung wowed us with the Galaxy S24 series at the beginning of the year, the OnePlus 12 and 12R are two of the best phones available right now, and Google is expected to impress later this month with the Google Pixel 8a.

But for the last few weeks, I haven't been thinking about any of those phones. Why? Because I've been using the Honor Magic 6 RSR. After launching in China this past March, the Magic 6 RSR is now available in the EU, and that's allowed more folks than ever to get their hands on the phone. And that's great, because the Honor Magic 6 RSR has quickly become my new favorite Android phone of 2024.
