It’s not only electronics and gadgets that go on sale over the Black Friday deals. Now is also a great time to score a bargain on subscriptions like streaming services. Arguably the best deal in streaming you’re going to find for Black Friday is the Disney+ bundle, which includes access to Disney’s new streaming service, plus both Hulu and ESPN+. But if you don’t need so many services and you’re looking for a cheap way to get some TV entertainment for the next year, then Hulu has an offer you may be interested in. You can pick up an ad-supported Hulu subscription for just $1.99 per month, down from the usual $5.99 per month. This offer is only available until Monday, so move fast to snap it up.

If you don’t know how Hulu works, it’s an on-demand video streaming service similar to Netflix. It’s currently only available in the U.S. and Japan, and it has some handy features like the ability to download content and watch it offline, which is great for users with bandwidth limitations on their internet connections. You can stream Hulu content through a web browser or via the apps for iOS or Android, and you can watch on two different screens at the same time if you have multiple devices.

Recommended Videos

As for the content you can find on Hulu, we have regular roundups of the best shows on Hulu right now. But to give you the short version, you can find everything from quirky comedies like PEN15 and The Venture Bros. to gritty historical drama like Vikings and Taboo, with a smattering of manga adaptations like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood thrown in for good measure ,along with beloved classics like The X-Files, Star Trek: The Original Series, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. The service also offers some of the best and most underrated dramas on TV right now, like Killing Eve, Legion, and Harlots.

With an ad-supported Hulu subscription, you can watch all of these shows and everything else in the Hulu library. The subscription price will remain $1.99 per month for a whole year, and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

Spotify’s new conversational AI can play tracks you request and answer your music questions
A ChatGPT-like AI feature is coming to Spotify for music requests and listening-history questions
spotify

Spotify is rolling out a new AI-powered conversational feature that lets Premium users talk directly to the app about what they want to hear. Users can type or speak a request and refine the results through follow-up questions instead of manually searching for a song, podcast, or audiobook.

The feature is available from Spotify’s Home and Now Playing screens and works much like a personal audio assistant. It can choose what plays, answer questions about the current track or album, recommend something new, and look through your listening history to provide more personalized responses.
