Amateur Simon Cowells, prepare your keyboards . As if YouTube hadn’t lured enough talentless hacks out of their parents’ basements with promises of Internet fandom, MySpace is now inviting the pain as well, with MySpace Karaoke. The social networking site announced its latest feature on Tuesday.

MySpace Karaoke allows users to perform, record and share any of the hundreds of licensed tracks MySpace offers. The all-in-one application the company uses, powered by Ksolo, delivers sing-along lyrics on screen, music, and recording capability.

After recording up to 10 karaoke songs, MySpace members will automatically see the most recent recordings pop up in their profiles for others to listen to, rate, and comment on. They can also share them elsewhere, and bookmark favorites.

While the U.S. version of MySpace Karaoke launched Tuesday, international versions are still a few months away. You’re safe for now, Germany. (But in the mean time, we’ve got 99 Red Balloons on the U.S. version).

Like many Apple Home features, these features are only available to iCloud+ customers. However, at the event, Apple didn’t notify which plans will get access to these features. Today, we get the answer in the release notes of macOS Golden Gate beta 3, and you are not going to like it.

Apple's decision to design its own chips reshaped the consumer electronics industry. Amazon may be about to make the same call, just about two decades later.

Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reports that Amazon is preparing to shift away from externally sourced processors for its consumer electronics lineup, marking what he describes as the company's first major processor procurement change in 20 years. The transition is expected to begin in 2027.
