Communications operator Verizon and broadcast network CBS have expanded on their previous content deals with a new, long-term arrangement that will make a broad swath of CBS programming—including shows like CSI,Survivor, and NCIS— available to both subscribers of Verizon’s FIOS home video service as well as Verizon Wireless’s V Cast mobile media services. The deal also extends Verizon’s reights for retransmission of CBS programming, meaning more CBS programming will be available for on-demand use. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

“We are extremely pleased to have reached this broad long-term agreement that recognizes the value of our programming,” said CBS president and CEO Leslie Moonves, in a statement. “Verizon subscribers will have continued access to the Number One TV network not only through FiOS TV, but also through V CAST on the mobile phone, which enhances our profile on a key emerging platform.”

The deal will make full episodes of several top CBS programs available to mobile users, including daytime shows, prime-time shows, and the venerable news program 60 Minutes. The agreement also includes video-on-demand rights for both standard- and high-definition versions of leading CBS prime-time programming.

CSB has a similar deal in place with Time Warner Cable.
