This post is brought to you in paid partnership with Stanley.

If you want a single tool that can cover some of the most common roadside headaches, this Stanley Fatmax Professional Power Station with a 120 PSI air compressor is an easy pickup—especially now that it’s marked down. It’s currently $67.98, reduced from $97.98, which means you’re saving $30 on a dependable, all-in-one jump starter and compressor from a well-known brand in automotive tools.

What you’re getting

The Stanley Fatmax Professional Power Station is built to handle the basics drivers rely on most. It combines several tools into one portable unit:

  • Jump-start capability for dead batteries
  • A 120 PSI digital air compressor for tires, sports equipment, and small inflatables
  • USB and 12V power outputs for charging devices on the go
  • A built-in LED work light that helps with late-night emergencies
  • Rugged, easy-carry design suitable for trunk storage or garage use

The integrated display makes it simple to monitor pressure while filling a tire, and the heavy-duty clamps give you a stable connection when jump-starting a vehicle. It’s designed to be accessible even if you’ve never used a jump starter before.

Why it’s worth it

A power station like this is useful precisely because you don’t think about it until you need it. Instead of relying on a stranger for a jump or hunting down a gas-station air pump, you have everything onboard in one device.

What makes this deal appealing:

  • You get both battery jump-starting and tire inflation, covering two of the most common roadside issues.
  • USB charging keeps your phone powered during emergencies.
  • Stanley’s reputation for durable equipment helps justify the purchase.
  • At $67.98, it’s priced lower than many jump starters that don’t even include a compressor.

It’s the kind of tool that quietly earns its keep—ideal for daily drivers, college students, or anyone who wants a little extra security in their vehicle.

The bottom line

If you want a simple, reliable backup tool for your car, the Stanley Fatmax Professional Power Station is a practical buy—especially at this Black Friday price. At $67.98, down from $97.98, it’s an affordable way to handle dead batteries, low tires, and device charging without calling for help.

Apple edges out a win in the PC market’s worst quarter by stumbling less than everyone else
Apple basically has a bigger share of a shrinking pie.

Apple won the PC market’s worst quarter, but that’s not the entire story. It won the race by stumbling less than everyone else.

PC makers shipped just 57 million computers worldwide in Q3, which might look good, but it’s a 21% year-over-year plunge (via Counterpoint Research). And despite Apple’s Mac shipments falling by 11%, to 5.6 million, its market share rose from 8.7% to 9.8%. How did that happen?

Update (October 22 23:54 PT): In response to our query, GM clarified that offline recording support is already available on eligible vehicles. Like Tesla's Sentry Mode, it requires owners to connect a USB drive to save incident recordings, which can be viewed on the vehicle's infotainment screen. The upcoming Connected Cameras feature will build on this by giving owners remote access to these recordings via the revamped OnStar app, allowing them to check footage without walking out to their car.

General Motors has announced plans to add a new Connected Cameras feature to its OnStar service starting next year, giving drivers a way to monitor parked vehicles remotely and capture footage of certain incidents.
