Dutch ePaper company DuRoBo just made two of its products available to buy in the US and UK. The Krono, a 6.13-inch ePaper focus hub designed for distraction-free reading, thinking, and writing, is now on Amazon for $279.99.
Alongside it, DuRoBo has launched Moodi, a lightweight Bluetooth page-turning remote, for $30.99 on Amazon and the DuRoBo website. If you have been watching the e-ink device market grow, this duo is worth a close look.
What makes Krono different from a typical e-reader?

Krono is built around a 6.13-inch Carta 1200 ePaper display with a 300 PPI resolution, an anti-glare etched screen, and an adjustable front light for comfortable reading day or night. Under the hood, it packs an octa-core processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a 3,950mAh battery, while running Android with full Google Play Store access.
The device is designed for more than reading. Its Smart Dial lets you scroll, turn pages, adjust brightness, and launch Spark, an AI-powered idea vault that records voice notes, transcribes them, and generates summaries. Libby AI can answer questions, summarize news, and provide creative prompts, while a built-in browser, wireless file transfers, and support for Kindle, Kobo Books, and Google Play Books expand its capabilities.
Moodi adds hands-free reading to the experience

DuRoBo is also launching Moodi, a lightweight Bluetooth remote designed to eliminate thumb fatigue during long reading sessions. Weighing just 18 grams, it features six swappable magnetic emoji button caps and pairs seamlessly with Krono for hands-free page turning. It also supports three modes, Reading, Multimedia, and Browsing, making it useful beyond e-books.
Moodi also works with most Android apps that support volume key page turning, including Kindle and Google Play Books, and delivers up to two months of battery life on typical use. Together, the two devices offer a more complete distraction-free reading experience.
