A power bank only helps if it makes it into the bag. These four Amazon deals cover different carrying habits, from a slim magnetic pack for everyday top-ups to a laptop battery for working somewhere the nearest outlet is somebody else’s problem.

INIU Pocket Rocket P50 – $29.68 (10% off)

The Pocket Rocket is the one I’d throw in a bag for a day out. Its detachable USB-C cable doubles as a carrying loop, and 45W output gives compatible phones a quick wired boost. The saving is modest at $3.31, but a compact battery with a cable attached has a better chance of leaving the house than a bulky one.

Fast chargingUSB Power Delivery and PPS
Included cableDetachable USB-C cable that doubles as a carrying loop

Anker MagGo 5,000mAh – $28.49 (43% off)

Sometimes all that’s needed is enough battery to finish the evening. Anker’s slim MagGo attaches magnetically to a compatible iPhone, keeping a cable out of the way while checking directions or replying to messages. Think occasional top-ups rather than repeated recharges. At $28.49, it’s the cheapest pick here, and the $21.46 saving makes that limited capacity easier to accept.

USB-C chargingUp to 20W input and output

Ugreen MagFlow 10,000mAh – $59.98 (33% off)

Check the phone’s wireless charging support before spending more on the MagFlow. Its 25W speed requires a compatible device, though the built-in USB-C cable is a useful fallback. I’d choose this over the smaller Anker for longer days away from an outlet. The extra capacity costs more, but the $30.01 reduction brings it just under $60.

Battery capacity10,000mAh
Wireless chargingQi2 25W on compatible devices
Wired chargingUp to 30W

Baseus Blade Travel – $53.96 (35% off)

The Blade Travel belongs in a laptop bag. Its flat shape slips alongside a notebook, while 100W output can keep a compatible USB-C laptop going between outlets. There are four ports for sharing power with smaller devices, though plugging in more gear splits the available output. At $53.96, it’s $29.51 below its listed price and cheaper than the Ugreen.

The risks range from rogue AI behavior and cyberattacks to geopolitical instability and existential harm.

Anthropic has officially filed to go public, and buried inside its S-1 is a blunt warning about the technology at the center of its business. The maker of Claude AI says advanced AI could cause everything from large-scale cyberattacks and geopolitical instability to catastrophic or even existential risks for humanity.

The warnings take up a surprisingly large part of the filing. Axios notes that more than 90 pages, or roughly a third of the prospectus, focus on risk factors. Many of them warn about what could happen as AI systems become more capable and autonomous.

Grok’s AI-generated Odyssey series is seven minutes of nothing happening beautifully
The landscapes look convincing. The fake Hugh Jackman and Instagram-face amalgamation playing Penelope are harder to forgive.
Uniform ships Odyssey by Grok

Some of the best shots in Grok Imagine’s AI-made Odyssey don’t contain actors. Ancient landscapes stretch into the distance. Close-ups of grimy hands suggest people who have touched something rougher than a keyboard. For a few seconds, the illusion holds.
